The society maintains a list of over 60 physicians who have agreed to speak, at no charge to schools, churches, civic and fraternal organizations on a wide variety of health related topics.
Alliance
The Alliance conducts annual fund-raising activities and distributes proceeds to worthy community projects, like student scholarships, and donations to local hospitals. The Alliance also conducts various public education programs throughout the year.
The Alliance will hold the Scholarship Fundraiser and President's Dance, honoring the immediate Past President, Dr. Vincent Calamia, on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Staten Island Hilton Garden Inn
Other honorees for the evening include: Dr. Albert Accettola, Jr. will be presented with the Robert J. O 'Connor, MD Award Congressman Michael McMahon will be presented with the Legislative Award
